Le Château helps young ladies across Canada plan their knockout prom looks with the launch of their new Prom Registry service. Many prom dress shoppers dread the idea of showing up to their prom in the same dress as someone else. Therefore, Le Château’s new service helps reduce this stress by helping them find complete outfits while ensuring their uniqueness. With a debut date of February 15th, 2010 in all of their 220 store locations, customers who have purchased a specific gown or dress can “register” it in the company’s database, alerting anyone else from the same high school that this dress has already been purchased and will be worn by a classmate. By knowing which dresses other girls at their high school have already purchased, these young fashion lovers can find their affordable head-to-toe prom-perfect look, while helping everyone attending the same event look dynamic and unique on their special night.
